CVP is seeking ARRT(CT)-certified CT Technologists to join our team providing services at the Iowa City VA Health Care System (ICVAHCS) in Iowa City, IA. This is a travel opportunity. This position offers the opportunity to serve our Nation's Veterans while working with state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Work Schedule: - Eight-hour shifts with possible start times ranging between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. - On-call rotation required for after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage
Location: Iowa City VA Health Care System 601 Highway 6 West Iowa City, IA 52246
Weekly Pay: $2,846 ($40/hr Hourly + $1,246 Weely Per Diem)
Responsibilities Perform CT procedures and routine CT Technologist duties during normal facility clinic hours (7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday)Provide on-call coverage outside normal clinic hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays - Must be available by telephone within 15 minutes of initial contact attempt - Must be able to arrive on-site within 60 minutes of completed notificationMaintain and demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of CT imaging proceduresFollow all established patient safety and infection control standards of careComplete appropriate QM/PI documentation pertaining to all procedures, complications and examination outcomesAttend required staff meetings as directed by facility Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or designeeMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations Qualifications Current ARRT(CT) certificationCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationCurrent, unrestricted state license/registration as a Radiologic TechnologistAbility to successfully undergo a Government sponsored background investigation (US Citizenship Required)Ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently
