Job Description

We're seeking an Installation Supervisor with experience in commercial refrigeration construction. This role involves extensive travel, working on the road for two and a half weeks at a time across the country. You will be responsible for preconstruction site evaluations, overseeing construction personnel, ensuring quality construction, and managing various sized projects. The majority of your time will be spent on job sites across the USA with occasional travel to our office in Raleigh, NC.

ResponsibilitiesPerform evaluation of site for constructability of projectsPerform evaluation of site for logisticsWork with Project Managers on field installation schedules and personnel for projectsResponsible for training employees to meet company methods and standardsProvide coaching and guidance to employees when neededResponsible for onsite quality of constructionWork with all departments to streamline the installation of projectsOther related duties as assignedEssential Skills3+ years of experience supervising commercial construction projects5+ years of fitting and brazing copper pipe5+ years of general commercial construction experienceWillingness to travel out of state as needed for 2.5-3 week rotationsValid driver's license and insurable driving recordExperience with installation of environmental chambers or similar commercial refrigeration installationsMechanical piping experienceKnowledge of the construction industry and documentationWorking knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelinesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in the pharmaceutical industry preferredUniversal EPA certification preferred, but not requiredUniversal Refrigeration certification preferred, but not requiredOSHA 30 Certification preferred, or open to be trainedWork Environment

This position involves traveling 90% of the time with normal rotations of 2.5 weeks on site followed by 3 days at home. Extra incentives are available for longer rotations. The typical work week is 46-50 hours. The company provides vans and all necessary tools, and offers in-house training, competitive pay, and benefits. The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $45.00
