**Travel Maintenance Technician (Per Diem $$ + Free Housing)** **MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO CHARLESTON, SC** **FOR A PER DIEM CONTRACT OFFERING** **FREE HOUSING** **AND** **ADDITIONAL PER DIEM** **COMPENSATION FOR MEAL AND TRAVEL EXPENSES** **Job Description** + Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. + Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. + Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. + Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. + Read and interpret equipment manuals, blue prints, schematics, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. + Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. + Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. + Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment when performing duties **Required Skills** + Facilities Maintenance + Preventative Maintenance + Ability to use and work on forklifts and boom trucks + Ability to troubleshoot electrical cabinets + HVAC knowledge **Additional Skills (Preferred)** + Experience troubleshooting CNC machines, saws, sewing machines, air compressors, welders + Both mechanical and electrical knowledge **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. **Work Environment** Climate-controlled environment.
