Observation MS RN - Nights - Newburgh, IN**AUTO OFFER** NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE) $3,318 wk./48 hrs. OR $2,506 wk./36 hrs. Contract Length: 13 weeks Start: 1/13 or 1/27 - Bi-weekly orientation Guaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request) Primary location: Gateway Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7 Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. Campuses are 8 miles apart & potential to float to campus 11 miles away. 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible. On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/A Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday. Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS. Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience. Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class) Patient Population: Chest pain, abdominal pain, flank plank, CVA/TIA, generalized weakness/awaiting placement/geri-psych placement. Skillset: PIV insertion, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 32 beds. Ratio: Days 1-4:5; NOCs 1:5-7; Excellent LPN and CNA support. CN rarely takes patients on days, but takes assignment on NOC shift. Unit Strengths: Excellent teamwork with support of fantastic LPNs and CNAs.
