Travel Rad Tech – Cath Lab – Days – Evansville, IN
$3,214 wk./40 hrs.
$4,078 wk. if called back for one shift
$4,942 wk. if called back for 2 shifts
40 MILE RADIUS RULE – NO LOCAL CANDIDATES
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP / 1/13/25
Guaranteed Hours per Week: 40 hours
Shift Requirements: 6:30a-5:00p – Monday – Friday
Float Requirements: Potential to float to campus 7 miles away based on census
On Call/Call-Back: Call rotation for Cath Lab 1-2 days/week with 30-minute response.
Weekend/Holiday: rotating Holidays and weekends (every 4th weekend)
Required Certifications: IN License and ARRT
Minimum Experience: 2 years’ experience working with Cath lab
Charting/Equipment: Epic experience, but no specific requirements
Required skills: Routine Diagnostic, Fluoroscopy, Surgery, Portables (EP/Cath Lab), Cath Lab (Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular, Hybrid OR), GE MacLab/CardioLab preferred
Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates.
Scrubs: will provide hospital scrubs
Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required – Subject to change
GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed

The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic procedures and activities to create detailed diagnostic images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. The Radiology Technologist collaborates with members of the radiology and health care team to promote total patient care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs all radiologic procedures which are offered by the department, following exam protocols on neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients Completes paperwork and computer related duties Analyzes scans, interprets results, and discusses results with patients Assists radiologists, staff physicians, nursing, and hospital personnel with radiological services Maintains department facilities, equipment, and materials in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort, and safety of patients and staff Checks equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular daily basis and per facility protocol Keeps supplies current, clean and replenished Processes film, evaluates for technical quality and ensures accurate patient identification and side labeling Greets patients, verifies patient identification and physician orders Obtains, correlates and documents clinical history prior to the start of examination Transports patients and informs nursing units of patients’ departure and arrival Holds medical and other sensitive information in confidence Knowledge of radiation safety measures and protection to comply with government regulations Performs other duties as assigned/necessaryMinimum Requirements:
