Job Description:

We are currently seeking a structural Welders/Fitters to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and/or fitting components according to blueprints and specifications. This position requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. All welding duties are FLUX AND PULSE!

- Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques.

- Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.

- Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications

- Weld and fit components using various welding techniques (e.g., flux and pulse)

- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of structural welding AND fitting experienceStructural fitting of LARGE COMPONANTS such as steel Proficiency in FLUX AND PULSEStrong attention to detailAbility to read and interpret blueprintsWelding certification preferred

Compensation/Shift Schedule:

Day Shift - M-Th 6am-430pm ($25/hr)

Night Shift - M-Th 330pm-2am ($25/hr + $1 Shift Differential = $26/hr)

*Per diem is offered for candidates outside of a 75 mile radius at $150 per days worked*

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00
