Job Description
This is a traveling Automation Technician/Controls Technician role focused on working with conveyor and sorting machines at client sites. The candidate will be responsible working on a team on installations and will require travel (95%)
ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of technicians during installations.Work on parcel and sorting machines at client sites.Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Utilize hand tools and power tools for various tasks.Inspect and ensure quality assurance on installations.Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics.Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.Essential SkillsElectrical and mechanical troubleshootingRepair and service of equipmentBlueprint readingField service experiencePreventive maintenanceKnowledge of schematicsExperience with hydraulics and pneumaticsInstallation and wiringAutomation and quality assuranceWhy Work Here?
