100% TRAVEL REQUIRED
+ Technicians will travel from city to city throughout the United States for a period of 6 months to one year.
+ Per diems include $85 per day for lodging and $40 per day for meals.
+ Technicians can expect 20-30 hours of overtime, weekly, as drive time is paid.
+ Some telecommunications experience required. Must know Cat 5/6 color codes and the components of a comm closet.
+ OSHA 10 and lift certifications preferred, but not required.
Job Description:
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled travel technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys, gathering information, and maintaining network equipment. This role requires the use of scissor lifts and involves cleaning equipment. This position is 100% travel. Technicians will need to arrive in Northwest Arkansas on March 20th, at their own expense. Technicians will be equipped with a company vehicle and gas card on March 21st, following orientation. Technicians will be responsible for their lodging and meals expenses for the first week, as their first per diem check will be paid out one week after their start date.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct two different surveys:
+ Gather information and take photos of existing Access Points (AP).
+ Gather photos and information on existing network closets.
+ Clean off network equipment to ensure optimal performance.
+ Utilize scissor lifts safely and effectively to access equipment.
+ Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks.
Top Skills:
Cable, low voltage, wireless access points, network devices, network cabling, punchdown, Cat6, Cat5, install, cable installation
Requirements:
+ Proven experience in a similar role.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to clean and maintain network equipment.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with network equipment and infrastructure.
+ Familiarity with survey tools and techniques.
Work Environment:
+ This role may require working at heights using scissor lifts.
+ The position involves physical activity, including cleaning and maintaining equipment.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
