Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to perform and oversee heavy civil work on a new construction project of a distribution center in Sterling, Colorado. The Foreman will supervise a crew of 5, ensuring efficient and safe operations on site.
Pay: 35-40 + Per diem (days worked)
ResponsibilitiesSupervise a crew of 5 workers on site.Outline and delegate tasks to the crew daily.Communicate directly with superintendents and project managers regarding the daily production schedule.Operate heavy machinery as needed, including dozers and other civil equipment.Essential Skills3+ years of experience as an operator foreman.Previous experience with civil, dirtwork, and earthwork projects.Ability to travel as required for the job.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong leadership and communication skills.Ability to work effectively under challenging weather conditions.Experience in overseeing and managing a crew on construction sites.Why Work Here?
We offer a $120 per diem for 120 days of work, with opportunities for more projects in Colorado after the completion of this one. Additionally, you will have the chance to work 20 hours of overtime per week, providing a great opportunity for increased earnings.
Work Environment
You will be working 6 days a week for 10-hour days, outdoors in Colorado during the winter. Expect to work in snowy and cold temperatures alongside a crew of 6 people.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00
