Job Description · A company in the United States is looking for Controls Technicians. They will be working solely on new construction for data centers. The day to day will start with the planning and installation stage. This person will deal with the elements of running through point to points, calibrations, functional and integrated system testing, coordination with the project managers, and more. This role requires a strong understanding of control systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the continuous operation of data center services. This position has a high volume of travel, can be over 75% of the time, around the United States. The right candidate will be willing to travel and work for long hours. Travel is covered by the company. This position can p[ay around $32/hr depending on experience.  Daily Tasks:    Daily startup procedures.    Running point-to-point checks (ensuring peripheral devices work with the controller).    System startup.    Calibrations.    Functional testing (executing commissioning scripts). Communication and coordination with the project manager.
