Job Title: MEP Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an MEP Specialist or Electrical Superintendent with strong computer skills. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Switchgears and UPS systems as they relate to Data Centers. This role is based in Goodyear AZ Data Center. Candidates should have experience in Data Centers and the Electrical field. We offer training to meet the specific requirements outlined below.

Hard SkillsAbility to change the IP address of your computer for equipment communication and programmingBasic programming of Modbus, including setting IP, Subnet, and Gateway addresses, generating new passwords, setting baud rates, and making basic parameter changesAbility to log into power monitoring software to generate and export reportsSet up a laptop and connect to PQM (power quality meters) for data recordingInstall PQM meters on bus bars for data recording during load testing, download saved data, and upload for reviewTroubleshoot communication issuesRecord and submit copies of work and validation formsSoft SkillsStrong problem-solving skillsAttention to detailEffective communication skillsAbility to travel 100%Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Red Oak, Texas.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site at a Compass Data Center in Goodyear, AZ. Due to most of the employees being on a traveling schedule, this role includes a 3-day weekend once a month. The position is salaried exempt.
