Job Description Our client is looking for a Traveling Security Technician to support large government customers locally and throughout the country. This individual will also be responsible for: Installing and programming electronic security systems including but not limited to access control systems, intrusion detection and CCTV systems Assist project management staff with creating proposals as needed Maintain project equipment and project redline drawings Assist engineering staff with creating designs and blueprints as necessary for client sites Perform quality control visits at customer sites as needed Train customer personnel on the use of security systems Install low voltage cabling Terminate, program and test security systems and any malfunctions Salary ranges from $70-80,000 based on experience We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience with electronic security systems (Axis, Pelco, Bosh, DMP, Lenel, SoftwareHouse, MDI, Hirsch, Hanwha, Genetec, etc) Must have commercial/federal electronic security experience (they do not want anyone coming from the residential space) Knowledge of low voltage electrical principles (DC Power, Relays, etc) Basic understanding of IP Networking MUST be willing to travel to local and other project locations out of state (up to 75% in time).
