Job Description Location: Military and federal sites between Virginia and New York Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled Electronic Security Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security systems. This includes access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and alarm systems. The primary focus of this role will be performing preventative maintenance on Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems. Key Responsibilities:  Preventative Maintenance:    Test electronic security systems according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Clean camera lenses. Verify cameras are focused.  Installation and Configuration:    When applicable - Install, configure, and test electronic security systems according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.  Corrective Maintenance:    When applicable - Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on security systems to ensure optimal functionality.    Diagnose and repair faults in electronic security equipment.  System Upgrades:    Assist in the upgrading of existing security systems to enhance performance and security features.  Customer Interaction:    Work with Site Lead to communicate with clients to assess their security needs and provide recommendations.  Documentation:    Work with site lead to maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service requests.  Travel:   Must be willing to travel between Virginia and New York to multiple Military and Federal sites to perform the work Monday - Friday. Skills and Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electronic Security Technician. Strong technical expertise in electronic security systems. High school diploma or equivalent Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel to different military bases from Monday to Friday.
