Major Responsibilities \n\nCoordinate the entire RAI process assuring the accuracy, timeliness and completion of the MDS, CAAs and interdisciplinary Care plan for all residents in the facility in accordance with all federal and state, certification guidelines. \nThe Traveling MDS Coordinator monitors and documents the management of the Medicare and Managed Care residents in collaboration with facility team members. \nComplete accurate and timely MDSs, CAAs and plans of care in accordance with the RAI guidelines for all residents in the facility. \nAct in compliance with company, regulatory, and professional standards and guidelines.\nAdheres to facility policies and procedures and participates in facility quality improvement and safety programs.\nAble to travel to facilities to support the MDS process as needed.\nBecome a Mentor for MDS staff as well as assist in the training of new MDS Staff.\nProvide an environment for new MDS staff to excel in the position.\n\n\nProvide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results as well as the development of a successful management team. \n\n

Minimum Qualifications\n\nMust possess a valid license as a Registered Nurse\/Licensed Practical Nurse in the state(s) of practice.\n\n\nMust have, as a minimum, three (3) years of nursing experience in a setting serving the same age or type of resident population served by this facility.\nMust have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a MDS Coordinator.\n\n\nTravels between multiple facilities with extensive overnight travel.\nYou must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.\n\n
