Traveling Skilled Laborer
**Job Title: Traveling Skilled Laborer- Richmond, VA area** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced Skilled Laborers to travel throughout Virginia and assist Technicians in maintenance and repairs/pipefitting on water pumps, valves, and hoses at wastewater facilities. Ideal candidates will have basic construction/environmental experience and be proficient with hand and power tools. **Responsibilities** + Assist Technicians in maintenance and repairs on water pumps, valves, and hoses. + Perform pipefitting tasks at wastewater facilities. + Utilize basic hand and power tools efficiently and safely. + Travel to various project sites across Virginia including Danville, RVA, and Waynesboro. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years experience in the construction industry. + Familiarity with hand and power tools. + Mechanical aptitude. + Comfortable with extensive travel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Basic construction/environmental experience. + Experience with wastewater facilities is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a reputable company offering comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. This role requires extensive travel throughout the week with weekends at home. Projects are located in various cities across Virginia including Danville, RVA, and Waynesboro. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
