Treasurer of Transfer SolutionsOverviewMastercard is looking for a Senior Vice President, Treasurer of Transfer Solutions to lead the treasury group supporting its Cross-Border Services (XBS) business. XBS enables a wide range of cross-border payment flows and use cases to customers including trade payments, remittances and disbursements.
The role consists of overseeing all treasury activities for the XBS business inclusive of FX management, settlement strategy and operations, liquidity and capital management as well as system/infrastructure development and enhancements. This role will also be driving strategic thought leadership and synergy across recent acquisitions to support the growth and expansion of XBS business. This senior leader will oversee a global team operating across multiple regions. There is also significant engagement with the core corporate treasury group, particularly in the areas of foreign exchange and liquidity necessary for global money movements.
Role
The primary responsibility is to drive innovation and continuous process and system improvements of treasury activities to enable an acceleration in XBS business growth globally with a focus on B2B and P2P. This includes, but is not limited to:
-\tOverseeing day-to-day treasury operations including FX trading/pricing, funding and liquidity management, and settlement operations
-\tActing as the global point of contact and escalation for FX pricing and settlement matters
-\tPartnering with product and/or sales organizations to optimize pricing for P2P and B2B customers and expand settlement capabilities
-\tDeveloping new FX products and solutions to meet the needs of customers
-\tPartnering with product, legal, and regulatory to support new market entries
-\tDriving system/infrastructure enhancements to improve efficiency and internal controls.
-\tMaintaining and developing relationships with settlement banks and Receive Service Providers
-\tEnsuring all exposures generated by treasury activities remain within the Company’s risk appetite
-\tMaintaining and enhancing policies and procedures for the management of XBS Treasury
-\tPartnering with Controllership to ensure all treasury activities are well controlled, including SOX compliance, appropriate accounting and public disclosures.
-\tAccountability for Management, Board and external reporting on XBS Treasury activities
-\tOwning and managing key stakeholder relationships.
All About You
-\tStrong experience in / knowledge of cross-border payments, disbursements and remittances
-\tExperience in FX risk management strategies and payment solutions for mid to large corporate customers
-\tKnowledge of broad corporate treasury functions
-\tProduct development or system implementation experience is a plus
-\tExperience engaging with regulators is a plus
-\tStrong leadership skills, including getting work done through others, being organizationally savvy, and provide thought leadership
-\tStrong negotiation and influencing skills, and proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects
-\tExperience managing a global and diverse team
-\tOutstanding written and verbal English communication skills
-\tBachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline; MBA preferred

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
