Treasury Analyst
Job Title: Treasury AnalystJob Description The Treasury Analyst is responsible for managing daily cash management investment functions, including investment of cash balances, account positioning, counterparty collateral movement, foreign exchange trading, and cash movement. This role involves preparing cash projections and conducting treasury analysis. The Treasury Analyst interfaces with corporate treasury, accounting and asset administration functions, as well as external brokers, bankers, and custodians. Responsibilities + Execute short-term cash liquidity requirements relative to investment policy statements, balancing funds availability and protection of principal. + Perform periodic repurchase agreement activity based on cash liquidity requirements. + Position cash liquidity to ensure correct account locations in support of settlement activity. + Execute and monitor counterparty collateral postings and returns according to ISDA, CSA, and securities lending agreements. + Execute foreign currency trades and wire transfers within established guidelines. + Manage investment positions in accordance with exposure limit and diversification requirements. + Analyze cash flows, including historical actual versus projections and forecasted projections, and report findings to the Treasury Manager and other key stakeholders. + Provide daily cash projections to support cash forecast preparation. Essential Skills + Treasury management + Banking + Cash management + Reconciliation + Cash forecasting + Financial analysis Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business from a four-year college or university. + Three years of related treasury or cash management experience. + One year of related financial planning and analysis/reporting experience or equivalent training. + Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Certified Financial Planning and Analysis Professional (FP&A), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred. + Proficiency in Excel with moderate to intermediate skills, capable of handling numerous daily reports and spreadsheets. Work Environment The Treasury Analyst will be part of a small team of five members. The individual may also collaborate with the investments team at times. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.46 - $35.46/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
