Treasury Analyst
Description A client of ours is seeking a highly motivated Treasury Analyst to join their team on a 1.5-year contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily treasury operations, processing payments, maintaining banking relationships, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally within a fast-paced environment. Please apply today for immediate consideration! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Processing daily payments, including checks, domestic/international wire transfers, and ACH transfers across various bank accounts. + Collaborating with AP, AR, and Back Office teams to investigate and resolve payment inquiries. + Researching and responding promptly to business and bank-related inquiries. + Preparing documentation for opening and closing bank accounts and managing account signatories. + Reviewing and approving new vendor setups in SAP. + Assisting in the administration of corporate credit card programs. + Ensuring compliance with internal controls and supporting audit requests from internal and external auditors. + Using ERP systems and software to compile and present financial data through reports, graphs, and charts. + Reconciling SAP cash clearing accounts for electronic payments and bank statement postings. + Performing other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the Treasury Department. Requirements Qualifications & Skills: + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. + 2+ years of treasury, finance, or accounting experience, preferably in the maritime shipping or oil & gas industry. + Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems. + Strong understanding of banking processes, payment methods, and financial controls. + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. + High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
