Treasury Analyst

ABOUT THE JOB:

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the Corporate Treasury function, including cash management, debt administration, bank account administration, capital lease financing and other related projects.  This role will report to Treasury Manager, and will be expected to work jointly with other corporate departments on cross-functional projects and requests.  Critical skills required for this role include attention to detail, high level of organization, ability to work efficiently and independently, prioritize meeting both internal and external deadlines and be flexible when team prioritizes shift.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Cash Reporting and Analysis 

Prepare the daily cash position file for all US and Canadian entities from core bank account. Prepare the daily cash position for decentralized operations from bank portals Prepare Company Cash and Debt Position Summary for management on a weekly basis Prepare weekly update to the 13 week cash forecast and analyze the report to identify areas of funding overages or shortfalls.   Utilize cash portal automation to upgrade weekly cash position file and process

Debt 

Maintain Excess Availability Schedule for the organization. Prepare and maintain Bond Interest Schedule and related support.   Prepare and maintain ABL Interest Schedule and support.  Track weekly draws, repayments and continuations on the ABL revolver.  Record interest expense and other fees on a monthly basis.  Assist in completion of program administration activities. Prepare monthly borrowing base calculation.  Coordinate with internal and external partners to create accurate and efficient reporting.  Update process as opportunities present themselves. Prepare and maintain schedule and support for the Company’s Letters of Credit Program. Prepare and maintain Swap schedules and support.  Track monthly interest and prepare documentation for monthly swap payment.  


Cash Administration

Prepare and initiate wires on behalf of the Company  This includes validation of underlying support request provided by business partners. Decision ACH & Check Positive on a daily basis. Maintain schedule of bank fees and provided analysis to team on a monthly basis.

Capital Lease Program

Create and coordinate funding requests of Capital Lease Program with Logistics and Banks.  Maintain schedule of Capital Lease funding and summary of spend. Assist in the RFP process of the Capital Lease Program.  Summarize funding needs and consolidate bids from Banks. Communicate timing expectations to internal and external parties.

Insurance Capitve

Update cash activities during the month in captive cash tracker Reconcile monthly activity to Captive Manager reporting Update quarterly board slides Other responsibilities as needed

Mergers & Acquisitions

Prepare the WS Escrow Reporting Schedule. Assist in seller debt review and other pre-close activities as needed. Prepare all administrative documents required to transfer bank accounts from target companies post close.  This will require phones calls to the bank 

Other

Ad hoc research in SAP and FCCS  Support periodic bank and financial statement audits. Support refinancing and capital markets activities. Share repurchase reporting & administration. Prepare ad hoc reports as requested. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years of previous accounting/finance experience including Treasury roles B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance.  CPA and/or CTP is a plus
