Description THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN TREASURY IS HERE! We are offering an exciting opportunity to be a Treasury Analyst in the upstream oil and gas industry, based in Houston, Texas. As a Treasury Analyst, your primary function will be to manage daily cash operations, reconcile bank accounts, and maintain accurate vendor data in the treasury system. You will also be responsible for preparing internal treasury reports and assisting with external audits related to cash disbursement or cash receipt testing. Prior Treasury experience is preferred, but if no experience in treasury we will consider candidates who have a desire to learn it. GROW YOUR SKILL SET BY GAINING THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE • Manage daily cash operations, including cash positioning, funding, and disbursements. • Monitor hedge settlements and bank fee funding packages, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation. • Maintain and update vendor data within the treasury system. • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. • Assist with external audits, focusing on cash disbursement or cash receipt testing. • Handle the process of posting and unwinding letters of credit. • Prepare internal treasury reports to support decision-making processes. • Track and reconcile specific investment level cash reporting to ensure financial accuracy. Requirements DISPLAY THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE TO BE SELECTED • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the oil and gas industry, or public accounting • Knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must • Ability to analyze financial statements is crucial • Proficiency in Cash Flow Management is required • Familiarity with Treasury and Treasury Activities is necessary • Must have experience in Bank Account Reconciliation • Proficiency in handling Letters of Credit is expected Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
