Work Arrangement

This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Technical Center three times per week, at minimum.

What You'll Do:

The Treasury Associate will add to the development and execution of various corporate treasury functions, including but not limited to capital planning, liquidity and cash management, capital markets activity, relationship management with banks and rating agencies, hedging activity, and corporate development. The role requires strong financial analysis and analytical skills, the ability to optimize a range of inputs and scenarios to support effective decision-making, and the capacity to craft positive relationships with a broad range of functions throughout the organization.

Perform critical treasury jobs on teams including Capital Planning & Corporate Finance, Corporate Special Projects, Debt & Equity Capital Markets, Foreign Exchange & Commodities, Cash Investments & Structured Finance, Auto Finance, Treasury Operations, Supplier Finance Risk Management, Pensions Strategy, and strategic initiatives within the Corporate Development team.

As part of a rotational program, individuals will demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, rapidly add value, and develop innovative, creative solutions to complex problems during each 12-month to 24-month rotation

Lead by example displaying GM behaviors, commitment to personal development and commitment to creating a positive Workplace of Choice culture

Assist team with understanding the bigger picture and how projects relates to operational strategy / Enterprise goals

Anticipate partner needs (proactive vs. reactive)

Assist team in prioritization of workload, creating a picture to influence decision-making, facilitate collaboration across staffs, think through key analysis assumptions

Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications:

Pursuit of an MBA degree with preferred undergraduate degree background in one of the following areas: Finance, Economics, or Accounting

Must be graduating from MBA program between November 2024 - August 2025

Prior work experience of at least two (2) years

Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

Familiarity in use of common financial tools (ROIC, NPV, IRR, etc.)

Knowledge of corporate finance principles including ability to perform balance sheet analysis, income statement analysis, cash flow statement analysis, capital structure analysis, etc.

Familiarity with basic accounting principles

Critical thinking and inquisitive mind

Sophisticated Excel skills and strong modeling and financial valuation skills

Can provide accurate, timely, and reliable reporting and controls

Ability to grasp the “big picture” and underlying strategic issues

Ability to develop solutions to sophisticated problems

Ability to bring new perspective to challenges and effectively communicate advantages to such perspectives/ideas

Project Management / Client Management

Ability to ask critical questions and gather data

Ability to coordinate and handle tasks within a broader project

Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal mentorship/supervision

Proactively works to resolve issues and move project tasks forward

Teamwork / Leadership Skills

Ability to work with people within and outside the group, including cross-functional partners

Works with sense of urgency to complete assignments

Solves problems and develops new methods of analysis to streamline decision making

Searches out and corrects inconsistent data; finds and fixes root cause of inconsistencies; understands the drivers

Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Ability to structure presentations in straightforward, efficient manner

Effective business writer; able to provide a short synopsis and recommendation

Compensation: 

The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington. ​

The annual salary range for this role is $95,000-$125,000. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.​

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.​
