What you'll do:

The Treasury Management Business Analyst will analyze complex business problems and issues related to the Commercial Deposit portfolio using data from internal and external sources to provide insight and recommendations to Senior executives and decision-makers. The Treasury Management Business Analyst will identify and interpret trends and patterns in the data and communicate the findings in management reporting. This person may also serve as an intermediary providing consultation to other users of the data.

What we are looking for:

Manage efforts to optimize interest expense in the National Business Lines through the creation and generation of client-level reporting to identify and track interest expense savings and trends.Manage efforts to increase deposit account fee income through client level reporting to identify and track fee income generating opportunities and manage fee discounts and waivers.Create and own a longitudinal table and reports showing top client’s full commercial loan, deposit, and payments relationship to guide Sales Relationship Managers in conversations and negotiations with clients in conjunction with the corporate strategic objectives.Produce ad-hoc analyses, daily and weekly reports and monthly forecasts on the Commercial Deposit portfolio including insights and recommendations to manage deposit pricing and fees, drawing upon the portfolio performance, industry trends, industry metrics, and competitor activities.Produce monthly forecasts incorporating sales targets, attrition and trends to inform Corporate Treasury and Planning of liquidity, liquidity requirements and pricing.Co-manage the process for generating complex multi-product statements and payments for the banks top 30 clients.   Create analytics and presentations for senior executives to use in their meetings with the Federal Reserve, Regulators, Investors, Internal Compliance and the Board to inform these groups regarding the status and key trends of the bank’s portfolio and strategic initiatives.

What you need to have:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or a related field.Five (5) or more years of experience, or the equivalent combination of work experience and educational experience, with data and business intelligence and analysis tools such as SMSS, Power BI, Tableau, MS Excel, and MS Access in product and/or strategy role with financial services experience, or complex and dynamic environment. Strong knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing concepts is preferred Ability to go beyond analytics and reporting to generate actionable insights and communicate these to a broad group of stake holders in support of strategic goalsConvert broadly defined analytic requests from senior executives in support of corporate strategies into analytics and reports supported by clear and concise communicationsBuild BI tools, reports and presentations with both client level and strategic insights for senior executive use, and senior relationship manager useRetrieve, prepare, model, and analyze enterprise-wide data using tools such as, but not limited to, SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI, and Excel.Work with and communicate with a broad set of constituents including senior executives, sales managers, analysts, operations managers, product executives, marketing executives and compliance executives
