The Treasury Management Payments Sales Officer I is responsible for managing and promoting the growth of a portfolio of business and middle market customers utilizing merchant services. This includes analyzing customer needs; identifying and advising on product and service solutions; and providing training and customer service support.
Responsibility may include portfolio management, and assisting with reviewing and adjusting related policies and pricing to ensure compliance and competitiveness of the Bank’s commercial treasury management products.

Key Responsibilities:
·Responsible for sourcing new merchant service clients and act as a liaison between the commercial banking teams and the Woodforest Acceptance Solutions team.
·Partners with commercial relationship managers and merchant acquiring client relationship managers to respond to customer inquiries and research requests for related specialized services.
·Project manages the sales cycle including assigning deals and managing workload of treasury management officers, monitoring production results, and implementing process and performance improvements.
·Evaluates customer relationships and performs analyses to strategize product and service solutions; makes recommendations and provides action plans to customers and relationship managers.
·Prepares and delivers pricing proformas, proposals, presentations and bid recommendations.

Competencies Required:
·Expert sales and marketing experience.
·Demonstrated ability to cross-sell and explain all Bank products and services with confidence and authority.
·Knowledgeable of merchant products and services, industry trends, pricing strategies, customer needs analysis and proposal development.
·Exceptional communication, presentation and consultation skills.
·Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast pace environment while maintaining attention to detail.
·Strategic and problem-solving mindset with developed analytical ability, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
·Excellent customer service and relationship management skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external top executives and business owners in a variety of industries.
·Expert knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, Bank policies and procedures, and the Bank’s products and services.
·Excellent organizational and time management skills.
·Proficiency with Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Office, Word, and SharePoint and the ability to navigate banking software applications
