Treasury Management Sales Specialist
About The Role Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is looking for a Treasury Management Sales Specialist for our American Fork branch. The Treasury Management Sales Specialist (SS) along with the TMO, will serve as the front-line contact for larger Treasury Management commercial clients. The SS supports one or more Treasury Sales Officers with all organization, paperwork, process flow, and problem resolution activities allowing the Treasury Sales Officers more time to hold face to face sales meetings with prospects and Clients. This position is responsible to assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Treasury Management services and TM Clients. The Sales Specialists develop a cooperative working relationship between Treasury Sales Officers, the implementation team and other Bank operations departments necessary for the delivery of Treasury products to prospects and clients. Develop processes and procedures that simplify, clarify, and speed up the process between the time of client acceptance of Treasury Management products and the product implementation. Follows up with clients when new setups are implemented and remain a constant source for any ongoing client questions or needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Builds strong relationships with treasury and other depository clients. Builds strong relationships and partnerships with the TMO. Participate with TMO in the client planning process and provides specific client/prospect relationship data that may aid in the calling/business generation process. Understands and influences internal process improvements required to streamline the client experience. Prepare Account Analysis Comparisons as requested by Treasury Sales Officers, based on data from competitor statements. Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frame(s). It is the individual learner responsibility to ensure that they understand the information given to them in each training. If the learner does not understand the information given they need to reach out to their supervisor for further clarification or additional training. Assist clients and Treasury Sales Officers as needed with problem resolution (Mostly with larger TM Clients) These requests for assistance may come from the Treasury Sales Officers, from the client, escalated from the Call Center, or other internal departments. Remote Deposit services problem solving, Supporting client “Administrators” regarding online banking setup or changes (initial on-site walk through and training completed primarily trainer or Treasury Sales Officer), Wire and ACH limit increases, both temporary and permanent. Product additions or terminations. Assist with periodic assessments and evaluations for renewal, annual compliance, etc. Participate in Community Service and Bank sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of the Altabank. Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel). Represent Altabank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive “can-do” attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs. Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy. Attends and participates in meetings as required. Regular and predictable attendance in order to accomplish, among other things, in-person contact with customers. About You QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum basic qualifications include 2 years in banking environment or financial institution or minimum 2 year experience in Treasury/Cash Management. Minimum 2 year experience working with PC based software applications Preferred degree from a four year college or university with or equivalent job experience. Sufficient experience in the banking industry showing an understanding of basic banking operations and treasury management processes. Proficient in the use of network and PC based software applications including menu driven work processing, spreadsheet, database, and information reporting software. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY: Proficient in the use of network and PC based software applications including menu driven work processing, spreadsheet, database, and information reporting software. Ability to gather, arranges, compile, interpret, analyze, summarize and evaluate information and data to formulate conclusions and recommended actions. Knowledge of, or ability to understand, Treasury products and services, including but not limited to Online Banking, ACH, Positive Pay, Merchant Services, Wire Transfers, Remote Deposit, Sweep Accounts, analyzed Accounts, etc. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, in writing and on the phone, with Treasury Sales Officers, other internal bank team members, and business owners and their employees. Ability to understand and resolve problems related to scheduling, install, and general delivery of Treasury products and services. Highly organized with the ability to keep track of, and move to completion, multiple projects for multiple Treasury Sales Officers. Ability to accept and promote change.
