Treasury Management Services Analyst

This position performs a variety of operational tasks related to the review and maintenance of account analysis, payee/positive pay and account reconciliation processes and functions. Performs a thorough review of account analysis, payee/positive pay, account reconciliation and sweep maintenance requests to ensure information is accurately reflected in the systems. This requires an understanding of the core banking system, the account analysis system, the reconciliation system and pricing concepts across business and commercial product lines. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures related to pricing and pricing exceptions to ensure fee income is maintained. Supports additional department functions such as Audit Confirmations, IOLTA/IBRETA reporting and remittance, MICR testing and responding to external/internal service inquiries.

This person will,

Input pricing and volume data into the pricing module of the core banking system and the account analysis systems to ensure accurate and timely pricing activities for analyzed and choice accounts. Exercise sound judgment to ensure that requested pricing exceptions have received proper approval. Acts independently and follows up with pricing exception originators to ensure proper approvals and required documentation is received to implement the requested pricing changes. This requires an in-depth understanding of the bank’s pricing structure by product type and business line. This data is used for the billing of Commercial, Business, Corporate and Choice accounts.

Execute daily Payee/Positive Pay exception processing functions to include: monitor exception decisioning, manually track fees, generate reporting, reconcile system of record and respond to inquiries. Perform the set-up, maintenance and testing of payee/positive pay and account reconciliation products.

Research and analyze client account analysis information as requested. Independently reviews maintenance updates, billing changes and account analysis statements for accuracy and timeliness of changes. Provides supporting documentation as requested to ensure history of pricing and billing changes are documented. Responds to inquiries over the telephone or in writing. Exercises independent judgment by recognizing and recommending pricing opportunities.

Perform the set-up and maintenance of multiple types of sweep accounts in the core banking system. Receives and reviews request for completeness and addresses any issues with originator to ensure that documentation meets requirements. Completes all tasks including validation of set-up within required Service Level Agreements to ensure maximum investment opportunity for customer.

Provide operational support for the Financial Institution Group and Public Funds lines of business by coordinating research requests with Treasury Management Services Analyst II. Respond to requests for information from colleagues that supports these clients. Independently research and resolve issues by researching resources that provide transaction details. Provide accurate, timely and professional feedback. Communicate directly with the external client as needed.

Associate's Degree Business Preferred


Experience

2-4 years Financial services or banking Required

3-5 years Financial services or banking. Commercial Banking and Account Analysis. Preferred
