Treasury Management UAT Manager
**Description** **Location:** On site at location listed in job posting **Summary** The TM UAT Manager will organize and manage the User Acceptance testing of TM products and services. The UAT Manager position will entail the planning, preparation, and execution of testing for dedicated projects in TM Product as well as other efforts that require TM product validation such as regression testing on non-TM led efforts. The UAT Manager will manage a team of 2-3 UAT Analysts that will perform day-to-day test case development and execution. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** **Overall Test Planning:** + Develop "Rules of the Road" for UAT testing for the TM applications. + Work with ET to develop an environments plan for testing TCBC. + Create a matrix to show which functions can be fully tested in each environment. + Work with ET to document the plan to load files for testing (e.g., BAI files, PP, RPP, ACH PP etc.). Which processes are automated, and which are ad hoc in each environment? + Work with TM product team to identify product team expectations for TCBC UAT. + Based on feedback develop an approach for how the teams will work together (i.e., what roles will the UAT team perform and what roles will Product Managers perform?) + Work with TM product team to identify other TM product testing beyond TCBC related testing. Identify cross functional partners and develop approaches for collaborating with them on those testing activities (e.g., Hogan upgrade, MTS upgrades, PEP+ upgrades etc.) + Work with the QA team and clarify expectations for QA testing (e.g., what are Exit Criteria for QA testing and Entrance Criteria for UAT testing.) + Develop standard approaches and document for the following: + Evaluate Strategy Template and Sample + Test Plan Template and Sample + Test Case Design Expectations with samples (including pre-conditions and validation steps) + Review current TCBC UAT test case inventory in qTest and update and streamline where appropriate. + Hire and train other UAT test team members. **Manage 3 Phases of Testing for each Implementation:** **Test Planning** + Create an overall test strategy. + Create test plans (one for QA and one for UAT) **Test Preparation** + Identify any training gaps for UAT test team members with new functionality. If needed, work with Product Managers to get training. + Manage the creation test scenarios for each business function in the release. + For each test scenario: + Review QA test cases and provide feedback. + Identify current UAT test cases and identify gaps. + Update current test cases and create new ones where needed. + Ensure test cases are entered in qTest (Design and Execution) + If implementation is a standard TCBC upgrade to a new product release, work with product team partners to determine which defect fixes from other banks the FHN test teams will include in the test plan. + Manage the identification of test data needs and ensure there is a plan to obtain data. + Create Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) for each implementation. + Create Coverage Matrix for each implementation. + Manage the development of a detailed calendar with daily test execution goals (includes both QA and UAT so there is an integrated calendar) + Set expectations for Development Exit Criteria, QA Entrance and Exit Criteria and UAT Entrance and Exit Criteria. + Identify key metrics for status reporting (including reporting format and timing) **Test Execution** + Facilitate Entrance and Exit Gateway meetings. + Manage the execution of Test Cases and Entry into Qtest (includes manual, automated, regression and performance (if part of the release)) + Manage the defect process and coordinate with ET partners and BT for resolution. + Produce status reports (including update of coverage matrix) + Manage Testing communications. + Identify any defects that were not resolved and require workarounds. + Capture production defects and identify which test cases need to be added and revised so defect would have been identified during the testing phase. + Hold Lessons Learned session after each release. **Operations** + Own and update the Configuration workbooks and documentation of the TCBC application. + Ensure all BT release notes and ET release notes are up-to-date and stored in an environment where they can be accessed by all stakeholders. + Ensure data/configuration in the TCBC application is up-to-date and consistent across all environments. + Ensure all updates are made in each environment. + Manage the validation of any TCBC production changes for the Product Team + Manage the TCBC production validation when other teams make a production change that impacts TCBC (e.g., SSO.) **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** + The UAT Manager will directly manage a team of 2-3 UAT Analysts and indirectly manage testing teams of 5-10 resources. + For given UAT efforts, the UAT manager will own the development of the test strategy that outlines the testing scope, plan, resource requirements and timeline. + The UAT Manager will work closely with ET QA Managers to ensure that scope is clearly defined across teams and that clear entry- and exit-criteria are established between QA and UAT plans. **QUALIFICATIONS** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position: + 5-10 years of experience with Digital platforms and bank products + Knowledge of cash management products and services (ACH, Wire, Credit Card, Checking Accounts, Loans, Reporting) + MBA or relevant advanced degree + Treasury Management experience + Agile/Scrum certification + 5-10 years of experience with testing tools (qTest, LoadRunner) and test script development **COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS** + Microsoft Office suite + Special software: qTest, JIRA, Confluence **CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS** (Ex: CPA, Series 6 or 7 license, etc) + None required. **Hours** : + Monday - Friday + 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM **About Us:** First Horizon Corp.
