Treasury Payments Manager
**Role: Treasury Payments Manager** **Reports to:** **Head of Treasury & FX Risk** **Location: Peterborough, hybrid 3 days** **Business Unit: Treasury** Travelex is one of the market leading specialist providers of foreign exchange. In our retail business, we operate over 1,100 stores in the some of the world’s top international airports by international passenger numbers and in major transport hubs, premium shopping malls, high street locations, supermarkets and city centres. We have a growing network of over 900 ATMs at both on-airport and off-airport locations around the world. In addition, we source and distribute large quantities of foreign currency banknotes for customers on a wholesale basis including central banks and international financial institutions. We also offer a range of remittance and international money transfer products around the world. **Purpose of this role** The Treasury Payments Manager will report directly to the Head of Treasury providing Management and Support of the Treasury payment platforms, incorporating H2H connectivity with Oracle Fusion and IT2 as well as a range of proprietary banking platforms. The job holder will be responsible for the management of the Payment Control team dedicated to ensuring all payments made by the business entities of the United Kingdom, Europe & Middle East are fulfilled in a timely manner meeting the agreed value date. The role is very deadline driven and the job holder will need to be flexible and driven to ensure payments are delivered in accordance with bank deadlines. **Key Accountabilities:** + Deliver timely and accurate processing of all payments via a multitude of Banking portals + Ensure payments meet international payment deadlines and communicate any failures to the business owner + Cover for daily netting and settlement process of deals + Drive the development of the payment function globally + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Wholesale and Treasury / Corporate Functions) to streamline payment processes and improve operational efficiency + Follow the Travelex Compliance and Payment policy + Assist in the resolution of payment queries from business owners and customers + Leadership of the team including performance management, leadership coaching and talent / succession planning + Participate in team meetings and one to one session with manager + Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies + Participate in User Acceptance testing where new/updated systems have an impact on the payment process **Knowledge / Experience:** + 5 years of experience in a payment related environment + Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy + Experience of working in fast paced / global finance or payment department. + Experience In Oracle Fusion and/or Host to Host connectivity + Prior experience working in shared service environment with an on/offshore presence is preferred + The ability to build strong relationships, developing trust and credibility with customers, partners, peers, teams, internal and external stakeholder **Why Travelex?** To remain the world’s leading foreign exchange specialist, we are focused on making our customers’ lives simpler, more engaging and hassle free while they travel or move money abroad.
