About the Role:
eBay Treasury is seeking a highly motivated Treasury Senior Analyst with robust quantitative skills to support our corporate finance initiatives! This role involves driving strategic decision-making related to eBay's capital allocation and financing strategies. This employee will report into the Senior Manager of Corporate Finance and will work closely to strengthen eBay's financial position!
What You Will Accomplish:
Financial Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate potential capital market transactions and corporate investments.Capital Structure Optimization: Provide strategic insights and recommendations on optimal capital structures and capital allocation strategies. Advise Treasury management on financing options to improve financial efficiency. Share Repurchase Program: Formulate and recommend strategies for capital return to shareholders through share buyback mechanisms, ensuring alignment with overall financial goals. Budget Management: Collaborate with Treasury functions and Corporate FP&A to consolidate and manage the monthly Other Income & Expense (OI&E) forecast, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial objectives. Business Partnering: Partner with business divisions to conduct financial evaluations of leasing proposals and other significant financing initiatives, providing valuable insights and recommendations.What You Will Bring:
Dedication to eBay's Hybrid Work Model, requiring candidate to be based out of eBay's Austin, TX and work in the office 3+days per week.A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is considered a plus. At least 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury, Strategic Planning, or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, with a detailed understanding of accounting and forecasting concepts to build comprehensive balance sheets, cash flow, and income statement projections. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the capability to develop sophisticated models and deliver compelling presentations. Proven ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, results-driven environment. Self-motivated with a strong eagerness to learn and excel. Able to initiate, manage, and complete projects with minimal supervision. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present sophisticated financial information to senior Treasury management and other internal stakeholders. Highly detail-oriented, versatile, and innovative, with a strong sense of intellectual curiosity and excellent problem-solving skills. Strong business judgment and outstanding quantitative and analytical abilities. Familiarity with financial software such as FIS/Quantum, Bloomberg, and/or SAP is advantageous but not mandatory.#LI-JG1
