Triage Clinician - Milford

We have a great opportunity to join our mobile crisis intervention team in Milford!

You will be able to work in a supportive small team atmosphere while also working as part of a larger organization that is a leader within the mental health care industry. 

 

The Triage Clinician:

works as a member of a multi-disciplinary team devoted to crisis intervention and stabilization assists MCI clinicians by triaging cases to determine the most appropriate location for an intervention to occur, with priority for community-based, non-hospital locations is an integral part of Community Behavioral Health Center’s Mobile Crisis Intervention program and collaborates with other MCI clinicians to provide crisis intervention services 7 days per week, 24 hours per day either on-site or mobile to any individual experiencing a mental health and/or substance abuse issue serves as the primary responder to all incoming calls to MCI, and using clinical and administrative judgment appropriately triages the call arranges for assessments to occur on site or in the community and organizes for transportation as needed secures placements in detox units, inpatient units and diversionary levels of care and coordinates the transfer of those served to these facilities assesses mental health and substance use presentations in order to more appropriately triage cases with a great deal of independence. is able to work under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing office environment while collaborating and liaising with a variety of stakeholders and providers assists in providing telephonic support to individuals in crisis while also assessing the need for a clinical intervention.

 

Schedule: Relief; Day and Evening shifts available including flexible 10 and 12 hours shifts available; great work-life balance opportunity to work a 3- or 4-day workweek.

 

Pay Rate: $34.65/hour unlicensed/LCSW or $37.13/hour Independently licensed
