Triage Nurse
Job Title: Nurse / LPN Job Description We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Triage Nurses to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 months of experience as an RN or LPN in Short Term Rehab and hold a valid NYS LPN or RN license. Responsibilities + Endorse, interpret, and enforce the objectives and procedures of the facility and the Nursing Department. + Plan, direct, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate the activities of all nursing personnel within the assigned area. + Conduct daily rounds. + Hold daily conferences with unit staff to review specific patient care and communicate and interpret recent policy and procedure changes. + Extend courtesy to all unit visitors and assist them in contributing to the emotional needs of all patients. Essential Skills + NYS licensure as an LPN or RN. + Minimum of 3 months experience as an RN in Short Term Rehab. + Minimum of 3 months experience as an LPN in Short Term Rehab. + Good oral and written communication skills. + Good interpersonal skills. + Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience supervising support staff for at least 3 months. + Experience working with the elderly population for at least 3 months. + Commitment to working desired shifts and every other weekend. Work Environment This position is fully on-site in New Rochelle, New York. We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem openings with morning, evening, and night shifts available, including alternating weekends. Shift hours are as follows: 1st Shift: 7am - 3pm, 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11pm, 3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
