Job Title: Triage Nurse
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Triage Nurse with a minimum of 3 months of experience as an RN or LPN in Short Term Rehab and a valid NYS LPN or RN license. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to providing excellent patient care.

ResponsibilitiesEndorse, interpret, and enforce the objectives and procedures of the facility and the Nursing Department.Plan, direct, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate the activities of all nursing personnel within the assigned area.Conduct daily rounds.Conduct daily conferences with unit staff to review specific patient care and communicate and interpret recent policy and procedure changes.Extend courtesy to all unit visitors and assist them in contributing to the emotional needs of all patients.Essential SkillsNYS licensure as an LPN or RNMinimum of 3 months experience as an RN or LPN in Short Term RehabGood oral and written communication skillsGood interpersonal skillsGraduate from an accredited school of nursingAdditional Skills & Qualifications3 months experience supervising support staff3 months experience working with the elderly populationKnowledge in Sigmacare (training provided)Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in New Rochelle, New York. Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem openings are available in the morning, evening, and night shifts with alternating weekends. The shifts are as follows: 1st Shift: 7am - 3pm, 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11pm, and 3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am. The work environment is supportive, with a strong team and professional atmosphere. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00
