The ideal candidate will have a strong background in short-term rehab care and possess knowledge of Sigmacare EMR. This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule and competitive pay rates. Responsibilities + Endorse, interpret, and enforce the objectives and procedures of the facility and the Nursing Department. + Plan, direct, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate the activities of all nursing personnel within the assigned area. + Conduct daily rounds to assess patient care and unit operations. + Hold daily conferences with unit staff to review specific patient care and communicate recent policy and procedure changes. + Extend courtesy to all unit visitors and assist them in contributing to the emotional needs of all patients. Essential Skills + Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN in short-term rehab with at least 6 months experience in Sigmacare EMR. + Minimum of 6 months experience as an LPN in short-term rehab with at least 3 months experience in Sigmacare EMR. + Current NYS LPN or RN license. + Knowledge of Sigmacare / Matrix EMR. + Good oral and written communication skills. + Strong interpersonal skills. + Experience supervising support staff. + Experience working with the elderly population. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Work Environment This is a fully on-site position in New Rochelle, New York. The schedule includes full-time morning, evening, and night shifts with alternating weekends. Hours are 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, or 11pm - 7am. Our facility is rated 5 stars by CMS, with 4 stars in staffing, allowing our nurses to provide excellent and safe care.
