You will support physicians by handling incoming clinical calls and messages, providing patients with comprehensive answers regarding their treatment plans and physician orders. This role requires building trust and rapport with patients to help them navigate their nephrology process. Responsibilities + Support 4 physicians daily with incoming clinical calls and messages, speaking to 30-40 patients per day (call times vary) + Field calls as needed for best treatment support + Answer comprehensive clinical questions for patients regarding their treatment plans and physician orders + Build trust and rapport with patients and help them navigate the nephrology process Essential Skills + Triage + Medical + Patient triage + Patient care + Customer service + Nephrology + EPIC Additional Skills & Qualifications + LPN with an active and current State or Compact Nursing License (open to lapsed licenses) + 2+ years of specialty clinic/physician office experience + Positive attitude and self-motivated + Team player + Organized with strong communication skills + Experience in Nephrology, Cardiology + Triage experience preferred Work Environment This is a fast-paced role, primarily involving sitting and phone and email communication. The environment is highly collaborative, working closely with clinical (medical assistants) and physician staff. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, with a 30-minute lunch break.
