The Triage RN makes nursing decisions in uncertain conditions drawing on a broad based depth of knowledge and is able to recognize life threatening emergencies. Uses detailed, comprehensive patient assessment tools, and uses protocols appropriately. Uses excellent interviewing and documentation skills and well developed communication prowess to assess patients both directly and indirectly. Coordinates patient care with other health care team members.
Triage RN Overview
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assess the patient and identified actual or potential health, safety or educational needsUses communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomesEvaluates care and the patient's response to interventions and expected outcomesFacilitates continuity of care through interdisciplinary collaboration and coordination of appropriate health care servicesMinimum Qualifications:
Current Minnesota RN LicenseAssociate's (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)BLS certification5+ years of clinical RN experience demonstrating proven assessment and visualization skillsPatient education and pro-active disease management experienceLocation: Remote - MN Residents only
Hours: 0.8 FTE, Clinic Hours, potential for 1.0 FTE

Compensation:
