The Truck Driver is able to perform Pre-Trip Inspections, loads and secures equipment and materials, and safely operates commercial vehicles in accordance with federal and state guidelines. The ability to work in a team environment that interacts effectively with customers is required.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm
Pay: $38.53/hour
What You'll DoPerforms complete Pre-Trip Inspections of commercial vehicles driven or hauled.
Loads and unloads vehicles, off-road equipment, or materials.
Secures loads with proper chains, binders, or straps.
Determines the safest and quickest delivery routes.
Obeys all state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to operating a commercial vehicle.
Reports any known vehicle or equipment defects noted directly to Fleet Maintenance.
Fills out proper paperwork for permits and timesheets.
Maintains a clean and efficient work area.
Performs other related duties of a comparable level and type as assigned.
