Truck Driver
**Job Overview:** The Heavy Truck Driver drives various CDL trucks with or without trailers up to 40 tons; to include: Straight Trucks, Dump Trucks, Lowboy, Semi-Trucks, and trailers. Vehicles will be used to transport material or equipment to various project sites. Drivers may also be required to load or unload truck or trailer with or without help, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep truck in good working order. **Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:** + Daily time entry + Daily operation of CDL vehicles + Transport material and equipment to various project sites. + Load and unload truck or trailer with or without help. + Other job duties as assigned + Maintain regular and punctual attendance. + Work overtime as assigned. + Work cooperatively with others. + Interact with employees and others in the workplace in an appropriate manner. + Use a computer for tasks such as communicating by email and preparing reports and work schedules using computer software. + Plan, prioritize and monitor assigned activities. + Select: Complete / Oversee the completion of assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner. + Comply with all Company policies and procedures. **Basic Qualifications:** + Must have 3-5 years of experience being Truck Driver + Must have High School Diploma or equivalent + Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License + Valid State Driver's License + Meet requirements for DOT physical, pre-employment drug screening, background check, and MVR check (MVR points are subject to company policy) + Equipment operating skills are a plus **PHYSICAL** **REQUIREMENTS:** Strength: Standing 50% Walking 20% Sitting 30% Lifting 35 lb.
