Relief Driver flat rate $1003 / week while riding along
While Driving $0.60 / mile and $5.07 a stop
**$2500/year Safety Bonus**
Relief driver(s) will be paid $1003 a week, (as modified by subsequent annual wage increases of 3% annually, effective each March 1), except in weeks when they are driving where they will be paid route pay (miles and stops).
Drivers will be compensated at one-hour straight time pay of $19.09 for time spent in company meetings, exams, and training programs. Driver Compensation is $0.60 per mile from March 1, 2022, through February 28, 2023; $0.60 per mile from March 1, 2023, through February 2024, $0.63 per mile from March 1, 2024. Stops paid at $5.07.
What is necessary to become a Relief Driver?
CDL class B with Hazmat Cert.Being eligible to work in the United StatesMust have a satisfactory driving record.Background Check and Drug Screening22 years or older12-months experience driving Tractor TrailorWhat are the primary responsibilities?
Ride along with Operator of tractor trailer truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations.Fill in as driver during sick time and vacations.Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service.Loads, secures, verifies, and unloads cargo.Maintains radio or telephone contact with dispatcher to receive instructions for scheduled delivery or pick up.Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations.May be responsible for vehicle inspection and maintenance.What is the work environment like?
