**Job Title: Truck Mechanic Apprentice** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical tasks to ensure that our fleet of trucks is uniformly 'road ready' in the shortest period of time. You will install and prepare a wide range of electronic systems including telematics, camera systems, ELDs, geo-fencing, and lane departure systems. **Responsibilities** + Handle drilling and bolt-on type modifications. + Route and clip necessary wiring or lines. + Perform light fabrication of affiliated bracketry to complete routing and clipping. + Use hand and power tools for various tasks. + Perform mechanical assembly and installation tasks. + Inspect and ensure the quality of work performed. **Essential Skills** + Basic mechanical skills. + Experience with hand tools. + Ability to climb in and out of truck cabs. + Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in light fabrication. + Experience in automotive service, mechanical assembly, or general labor. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency with basic tools, including a 3/8” driver socket set, 1/2” driver socket set, open-end wrench set, metric wrench set, adjustable wrenches, Allen wrench set, Torx sockets, small hammer, punch, pry bar, needle nose pliers, pliers, wire cutters and strippers, test light, screwdriver set, steel toe safety shoes, 3/8” impact gun or ratchet, 12’ tape measure, tri-square, and 3/8” air drill. + Experience in carpentry, construction, repair, finish inspection, machine operation, and general labor. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, a 401(k) plan, a tool allowance, and opportunities for pay raises at the time of conversion.
