Join Foley Equipment and grow your career as a skilled Caterpillar, heavy equipment, EPG (Electric Power Generation) or truck technician today.  What You Will Do in This Role: Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance for on-highway trucks  Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical repairs and adjustments  Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision   Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments  Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers on their repairs  Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations 
Candidate Requirements:Must be active duty U.S. Military members (or spouse) with approximately 180 days of time in service remaining.Must be accepted into the Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) 25-2 cohort.
Our Ideal Candidate: Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics   General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments  Knowledge of use of various on-highway trucks   Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications  Ability to drive and valid driver’s license required What Will Put You Ahead: Experience working within the diesel mechanics industry Stable work history  All makes and models of engine rebuilds  Class A or B CDL
