Job Type & Location:

Contract to Hire position based in Deer Park, Washington.

Job Description: As a Truss Builder, you will be responsible for building and stacking trusses. This role involves unloading wood from carts, packing trusses and lumber, lifting and stacking wood onto tables, and using hand tools such as a hammer and tape measure. This is a physically demanding position that requires a strong work ethic and a willingness to engage in hard work.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and stack trusses.Unload wood from carts onto the ground.Pack trusses and lumber.Lift and stack wood onto tables.Use hand tools such as a hammer and tape measure.

Essential Skills:

Experience with hand tools.Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.Experience in construction.Positive attitude and coachability.Reliability and consistent attendance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to bend and kneel repetitively.Ability to jump up and down off a table that is 2.5ft high.Capability to lift and carry 50lbs frequently and up to 80lbs occasionally.Willingness to move and walk extensively, up to 25k-30k steps/day.Entry-level candidates with a good attitude and willingness to learn are welcome.

Work Environment:

Exposure to extreme temperatures; you will sweat in the summer and be cold in the winter.Work both indoors in the shop and outdoors in the yard in all weather conditions.Part of a company with multiple divisions including truss, millwork, doors & windows, and lumber yard.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.14 - $18.14/hr.
