We are seeking an experienced Truss Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design trusses using MiTek Sapphire, address and resolve design challenges, and ensure all designs adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure designs are feasible and meet project specifications. Additionally, you will prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for truss manufacturing and installation.

ResponsibilitiesDesign trusses using MiTek SapphireAddress and resolve design challenges, providing innovative and cost-effective solutionsEnsure all designs adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standardsWork closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure designs are feasible and meet project specificationsPrepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for truss manufacturing and installationEssential Skills3-5 years of experience in truss designProficiency in MiTek SapphireExperience in residential/custom designs and floor truss designKnowledge of truss design, suspended ceilings, siding, suspension, blueprint drafting, trusses, framework, joist, and manufacturing processesAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in residential/custom designs and floor truss design is a plusWork samples, if available, are preferredWork Environment

The work environment is primarily in-office located in Donald, Oregon, with some flexibility for hybrid work for a strong candidate. Our team enjoys a great company culture with a bonus structure based on company performance twice a year. The current team size is 10 individual designers. The dress code is relaxed, and typical start times are 6:30 or 7:30 AM, with some flexibility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00
