Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Trust Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. This role involves managing cash receipts, reconciling payments, and ensuring accurate financial reporting to support business decisions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: + Accurately match and apply cash receipts to booking reports. + Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies by coordinating with studios, agents, and business managers. + Maintain accurate booking and client records, ensuring proper documentation. + Process refunds, fund transfers, and handle misapplied payments. + Manage escrow funds, release payments on scheduled dates, and close completed bookings. + Address agent and client inquiries regarding payments, corrections, and reissues. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient trust accounting operations. + Assist with system improvements and escalate issues as needed. Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred; Must have 3+ years Finance/Accounting experience Experience reconciling accounts, statements, etc. and resolving discrepancies Entertainment experience is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work well with a team and represent the culture of the company Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities Ability to succeed in a fast paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic, corporate environment Unimpeachable integrity and can be trusted to maintain confidential information Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 10-key by touch Typing – 45 wpm min Good organizational skills; able to multi-task Will take initiative; ask for more work if needed Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
