Trust Administrator II (Trust Officer) [Full-Time]
Job Descriptions: Summary: Primarily responsible for the proper and accurate administration of assigned trust and agency accounts, including contacting clients, attorneys and beneficiaries associated with those accounts, as well as following the terms of the documents governing the accounts. Also responsible for working with clients to insure retention of their accounts and expand their product usage throughout the bank. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Serves as primary point of contact for existing clients in partnership with the assigned relationship manager. + Maintains contact with existing clients, beneficiaries, and referral sources to deliver agreed upon services, addresses customer inquiries and resolves servicing issues. + Prepares and sets up documentation for new accounts including the initial account review. + Manages all assigned accounts, assuring proper administration according to the operating document, trust policies and procedures. + Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including the bank Secrecy Act (BSA). + Exercises judgement in determining how to process client requests. + Maintains proficiency in utilizing, updating, and entering data into the trust operating system. + Works with third party investment managers utilizing their expertise to preserve and grow client assets using agreed asset allocation and objective. + Reviews and prepares annual administrative account reviews and resolves breaches by the review deadline. + Make recommendations for fiduciary approval by the SVP Trust and Investment Services Manager or the Trust Committee. + Works with auditors and regulators to review the administration of assigned accounts, presenting proper compliance with policies and regulations. + Meets with clients and trust beneficiaries to discuss their needs and the benefits of using our Wealth Management Services. + Maintains knowledge of the Onesource Trust Tax system and various tax codes. + Participates in marketing programs to promote trust services, including seminars, education luncheons, mailings, and call programs. + Maintains professional skills and certification by participating in seminars, schools, and other education opportunities, along with completing all compliance training requirements. + Possesses strong organizational skills and documentation of client files. Travel Position may require the need to travel to other branches or meeting locations. JD preferred. + 5-10 years of experience in the trust and estates industry. + Experience in the administration and support of trust and estates including general understanding of fiduciary products including grasp of legal, tax and investment concepts. + High degree of accuracy with attention to detail required. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Skilled at collecting client assets. + Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills. Licenses/Certificates/Registrations Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor certification (CTFA) and/or Certified Financial Planner certification (CFP) preferred.
