UKG is seeking a customer focused and highly energetic individual to join our Payroll Services Team. As part of the Payroll Services Funding Team, the Funds Operation Specialist works within a team of professionals to ensure client funds are received and transactions submitted to the bank accurately and according to required deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing daily banking activities and acts as liaison with the Treasury Department and bank contacts.
• Responsibilities include review and execution of daily banking activities and client financial transactions, including reconciliation of incoming transactions and communication for collection of unfunded transactions.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding banking questions and unsettled payroll tax and direct deposit funds.
• Monitor banking notifications related to direct deposit returns and confirm submission to clients via payroll system.
• Auditing of client company configurations specific to banking requirements.
• Preparation of monthly client billing and department metrics.
• Interfaces with Banking Relations, Clients, and UKG staff.
• Manage Salesforce cases in a timely manner, addressing any concerns and maintaining effective communication with clients and partners.
• Provide backup and assistance to other team members as needed.
• Manage multiple competing priorities with tight deadlines in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
• Manage projects in an organized, proactive, and independent manner to meet all required time frames and commitments.
• Participate in initiatives to improve PS Funding processes and rollout new technology internally.
• Work on stretch assignments and other duties as assigned
**This is a hybrid role. The employee will be expected to work 3 days/week onsite at a US Based UKG office**
Basic Qualifications:
• 1-2 years’ USA payroll and/or banking experience
• Experience working directly with customers using various communication methods, including phone, email, MS Teams/Zoom and PowerPoint
• Previous experience with banking or payroll products/processing
• Experienced with Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience with UKG systems or similar payroll processing software
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• American Payroll Association certification (CPP or FPC)

The pay range for this position is $45,700 to $65,750, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
