GENERAL FUNCTION: Supports the Regional Trust Real Estate Manager in every aspect of servicing the client base to ensure greater client satisfaction, retention and compliance with all policies and procedures governing fiduciary relationships. Works extensively with trust system. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Assists with preparation of Regulation 9 real estate reviews. + Assists with obtaining title insurance and appraisals. + Participates on client sales and service calls as needed. + Frequent interaction with other areas of Trust and the Bank. + Provides back-up support with client communication and problem solving. + Fosters positive professional and customer relationships. + Ensures smooth transition as client moves among service models. + Works with Administrative Service Group (ASG) to process real estate related bills. + Provides necessary maintenance/interfaces for trust and real estate accounting systems. + Pro-active with a sense of urgency for client services and completion of projects/tasks. + Works with multiple managers with need to balance priority. + Assists with property inspections and with meeting third-party vendors in outside locations. + Learns basic knowledge of Real Estate and Fiduciary Law. + Provides oversight for a geographically dispersed and diverse portfolio of 130+ residential, commercial farmland and vacant land properties. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED: + High School or GED equivalent required. + Associate Degree preferred. + Trust Real Estate Administrator or related experience preferred. + Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. + Strong technical skills in order to provide system administration and support. + Detail oriented and good problem solving skills. + Deep consideration for success of team members and support for the mission of the organization. + Understanding of company policies, procedures and operations. + Effective customer relations. The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as geographic location, specific position requirements and individual skills, experience, and education. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
