TSSCI Palo Alto Engineer
An employer is looking for a Palo Alto Engineer to sit in Arlington, VA! This person will be responsible for identifying and remediating misconfigurations, conflicting rules, security gaps, firewall, and load balancer security issues. This includes providing Tier 3 support to operations network administrators and maintaining all hardware and software components at vendor-supported levels. The position involves supporting the creation of monthly network device performance and traffic utilization reports, developing and participating in After Action Reports (AARs), and offering expert advice on managing and operating all Palo Alto devices. The role also includes interacting with senior stakeholders to set objectives and goals based on Palo Alto Networks technologies, evaluating current technologies and processes to identify gaps, and providing requirements and strategies for future cybersecurity operations.


Compensation:
$65/hr to $72/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
