**2nd Shift Tube Mill Operator** Adecco is seeking a skilled and dedicated Tube Mill Operator. The Tube Mill Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining tube mills to produce high-quality steel tubing products. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with tube mills or similar machinery, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Machine Setup and Operation:** + Set up and adjust tube mill machinery according to specifications. + Operate the tube mill to produce steel tubes of various sizes and shapes. + Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality and adherence to production standards. + **Quality Control:** + Inspect products during and after production to ensure they meet quality specifications. + Make necessary adjustments to the mill to maintain quality standards. + **Maintenance and Troubleshooting:** + Perform routine maintenance on tube mill equipment. + Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime. + Work with maintenance teams to resolve complex machine problems. + **Safety and Compliance:** + Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. + **Documentation and Reporting:** + Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and maintenance activities. + Report any production or quality issues to the supervisor promptly. **Qualifications:** + **Experience:** + Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tube Mill Operator or in a similar role in metal manufacturing. + **Skills:** + Welding and fabrication + Experience with high loads and overhead cranes. + Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers. + Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting. + **Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred** **Benefits:** + Weekly Pay starting at $18/hr + Benefits after 1 week (Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k and more) Click on apply now for immediate consideration for the Tube Mill Operator role in Houston, Tx! **Pay Details:** $18.00 to $26.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
