Known as "The Garden City" for its miles of beautiful coastline and easily accessible public parks, Beverly is a postcard community showcasing all that New England has to offer and more! **Job Description:** **Position Summary:** Under the direction of Cancer Center Director & Coordinator, the assistant, carries out a variety of duties for the Cancer Registry, in the areas of Quality Assurance, Cancer Conference Coordination, reporting and others, in addition to performing the duties of a Certified Tumor Registrar assistant in accordance with Beverly Hospital policy and procedures. **Minimum Qualifications:** Education: Associates Degree in a related field of study Licensure, Certification, Registration: C.T.R. (Certified Tumor Registrar, not required but preferred) Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Strong organizational and communication skill, ability to function independently and to devise creative ways of obtaining information, knowledge of medical terminology and medical practice, ability to interact with professional personnel at all levels, knowledge of computer databases and knowledge of computer word processing systems. In the absence of any of these skills, demonstrates the ability to be thoroughly trained to meet organizational standards.
