**Turbine Engine Technician - $40/hour - Oregon job site** **Job Description** Working in a bench repair and testing environment in the Turbine Engine shop overhauling helicopter engines, the Technician will disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, test, and certify systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters. The Technician will read and interpret maintenance manuals, clean and inspect engines and engine components for damage and wear using visual examination and special tooling and equipment. They will replace or repair damaged and worn engine parts using general hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment, reassemble, perform tests, and checks as required to confirm engine or engine component serviceability.
