This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of $17.34-27.31/hour based on experience plus $120/day per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Installation of hull insertsUse of lapping & blue checking toolsOperate latheValve overhaul, steam, & vog AC refrigeration repairInstallation of lift check valveSteam plant cleaning Installation of main engine propulsion plant machinery & equipment Installation of anchor windlass, mast, & antennaLube oil flushingInstallation of ballast tanks, refueler, drilling/taping, etc. Test boiler operationsInstallation of valve & pump packingInstallation of deck ordinanceShafting & bearing workOther tasks as assigned Requirements 20+ Years of Turbine Generator Experience Familiarity with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industryFamiliarity with FastenersAbility to comprehend complex drawings, blueprints, diagrams, & sketches Company DetailsTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
